The intense, but gloomy and trudging title track. A very low and dark point of realizing I'm likely my own nemesis. Hopelessness at its most hopeless.

Standing just outside of me, a shell with its eyes closed.
Laying prone and silently, barely composed.
I move away, I don't want to see what's shown.
The noise it comes and leads me astray, leave it baron and alone.
I pass through shapes and sound, no perceivable colour.
Suspended animation, no one around.
Everything bleeds from one into the other.
The static that surrounds me, consuming when I fight.
Even if I'm still lost in here, just bury it in the ground tonight.

Now I know what I should do, or is it another ruse?
Promises of another side meant only to confuse.
